Match Game PM: With Gene Rayburn, Johnny Olson, Brett Somers, Charles Nelson Reilly. A group of celebrities would be given a sentence with a missing word, which they would then have to fill in. The contestants would then give their own answer, and scored points according to how many celebrities gave the same answer.

Match Game PM is the third version of the game show. It was hosted by Gene Rayburn. It ran 230 episodes over six seasons in syndication from 1975 through 1981.
The weekly nighttime series premiered 8 September 1975. It was produced by Goodson–Todman and distributed by Jim Victory Television to many ABC affiliates. This version was created with self-contained episodes. For its last two seasons, the show's affiliate count went down significantly due in large part to the daily syndicated version that debuted in September 1979
The front game was originally played the same way as the daytime Match Game with two rounds of questions, but in the second season, a third round of questioning was added to fill time in the half-hour. The maximum score a contestant could achieve remained six points, with matched celebrities not playing subsequent questions.
Beginning with the second season, tiebreakers were conducted differently from the daytime version. A "Super Match"-style question was asked, and the contestants wrote their answers, then called on celebrities for a match. Originally, only Somers, Reilly, and Dawson played in the tiebreaker, but after Dawson's departure in 1978, all six celebrities played.
