Kim Ondaatje (born Betty Jane Kimbark; born October 2, 1928) is a Canadian painter, photographer, and documentary filmmaker.
Kim Ondaatje (1999) In the 1960s Ondaatje gave up teaching literature and turned to the visual arts, painting and exhibiting her work, publishing books of her photographs, making art films, teaching art and providing lodging for numerous artists and writers.
Ondaatje’s paintings and prints can be found in numerous collections, including The National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Montreal Museum of Fine Art, and The Robert McGlaughlin Gallery, among many others.

Kim Ondaatje is a painter, photographer and documentary filmmaker. Born in Toronto in 1928, she studied at OCADU and McGill University and later became a full-time artist when she moved to Piccadilly Street in London, Ontario in the '60s.
