Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani (Arabic: عبد الله بن جاسم بن محمد آل ثاني "Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani"), also known as Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani or Sheikh Abdullah bin Qassim Al Thani, was the Emir of Qatar. He was born in 1880 in Doha, the capital city of Qatar.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Al Thani is the third Ruler of the State of Qatar. He was known for his piety, righteousness and vast knowledge. During his tenure the first oil well was drilled in the country. He proved himself as a shrewd and gifted negotiator during the negotiations with oil companies. He was a far-sighted statesman.

El jeque Abdullah Bin Jassim Al Thani nació en 1871 en Al Vida, Doha, y fue el quinto de 18 hermanos. Su padre, el jeque Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani, lo nombró gobernador de la ciudad capital de Catar para prepararlo con miras a ser su sucesor. No fue sino hasta el 17 de julio de 1913 que Abdullah se erigió como el tercer gobernante catarí.

It is built around the old palace of His Highness the late Sheikh Abdullah Bin Jassim Al Thani, which was his family home and the government headquarters for 25 years. The Cultural Village (Katara): opened in 2010 to promote the cultural movement and empower creative potentials.
