Gerald de Windsor (c. 1075-1135), alias Gerald FitzWalter, fue el primer castellano del castillo de Pembroke en Pembrokeshire (anteriormente parte del Reino de Deheubarth), en Gales, y estaba a cargo de las fuerzas normandas del suroeste de Gales.
Gerald de Windsor (c.1075 – 1135), alias Gerald FitzWalter, was an Cymro-Norman lord who was the first Castellan of Pembroke Castle in Pembrokeshire (formerly part of the Kingdom of Deheubarth).
In 1100 she married Gerald de Windsor, an Anglo-Norman baron who was much older than Nest. He was constable of Pembroke Castle at the time and was given the site of Carew Castle as a dowry. Together they built the first Castle on the site in which to bring up their family of at least five children.

9 de ago. de 2023 · Gerald de Windsor is certainly the recognized father of Maurice FitzGerald. Gerald's initial fame came as castellan of Pembroke castle in extreme southwest Wales, as a retainer of Arnulf de Montgomery, younger son of the famous Norman knight Roger de Montgomery.
