Ralph Fiennes, born 22 December 1962, is the British actor who portrayed Gareth Mallory who took over the role of M at the end of Skyfall. He reprised his role in Spectre and No Time To Die . Fiennes originally auditioned and was considered for roles in the 007 series in 1994 and 2004.
