14 de ene. de 2010 · Brian "Damage" Keats, who drummed in the final incarnation of the Danzig-fronted MISFITS (circa 1983), died on January 12th following a battle with cancer. He was 46. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Damage played for the puk bands GENOCIDE and VERBAL ABUSE before Glenn Danzig invited him to join The Misfits.
Swalla played one Misfits show in June 1982, and later substituted for Damage on October 29, 1983. Brian "Damage" Keats, the former drummer for such legendary American punk bands as Verbal Abuse, Misfits and Genocide, has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was fourty six years old and is survived by his wife and child.
Danzig had selected Brian Damage (real name Brian Keats), formerly of Genöcide and Verbal Abuse, as the band's new drummer. However, Damage became drunk before the show and could not play properly.
