Singing in the Suburbs is the first solo live album by Australian country music artist John Williamson. The album was released in 1983. The album included the track "The Vasectomy Song", which peaked at number 28 on the Kent Music Report , which remains Williamson's second highest-charting single, behind " Old Man Emu ".

Singing in the Suburbs, an Album by John Williamson. Released in 1990 on Festival (catalog no. D 38100; CD).
In 1983 Williamson released his first solo live album, Singing in the Suburbs and another live album, The Smell of Gum Leaves, in September 1984. It featured another comic track, "I'm Fair Dinkum". Williamson then launched his merchandise business, The Fair Dinkum Road Company, in Sydney.
