The Harrodian School is a private day school in Barnes, South-west London. Formerly the site of Harrods Sports Club, the original premises have been extended and converted for educational purposes. The school opened in September 1993 with 65 pupils; by 2011, the roll had grown to 925.

Our history. Harrodian was founded in 1993. Before that our riverside location on the south bank of the Thames in Barnes served as a farm, a private residence and a sports club. This time line charts the history of our beautiful site as well as Harrodian's growth into maturity over its first quarter century as a school.
Admissions Process (All Year Groups) Harrodian is a co-educational independent school that offers a balanced and stimulating education to children of all ages on a single site. Girls and boys attend the Pre-Prep aged 4 to 7, the Prep School aged 8 to 12 , the Senior School aged 13 to 15 and the Sixth Form aged 16 to 18.
