Johanne James is the drummer for British progressive metal band Threshold. He joined the band officially, replacing Mark Heaney, in 2001, to record the album Hypothetical, which occurred after having toured with the band in support of the albums Extinct Instinct and Clone. [1]

Johanne James is the drummer of UK prog rockers Threshold and the front man of his own rock/groove/metal trio Kyrbgrinder. He began playing drums at the age of 15, being highly influenced by Ian Paice of Deep Purple and Billy Cobham.

7 de oct. de 2022 · Los británicos Threshold ya están de vuelta con nuevo disco, 'Dividing Lines', y ahora ofrecen un tercer single de presentación. Se trata del tema 'Complex', cuyo vídeo podéis ver sobre estas líneas.
Sin duda “Silenced” es probablemente el mejor corte del disco y por ello fue lo primero que dieron a conocer. El arranque con efectos de vocoder ya nos preavisa de que esto tiene muy buena pinta. La base rítmica de Johanne James (como en todo el disco) es espectacular.
