John Kosh was the designer and art director for the album cover. Kosh was also the designer of Randy’s 1982 solo album, One More Song solo album, and the Hotel California album.

Randy Meisner is the self-titled debut solo studio album by Randy Meisner. It was released in mid 1978, on Asylum in the United States, and in the United Kingdom. The track "Bad Man", was featured in the film FM, which also included an appearance by his one-time employer Linda Ronstadt.

When he was young his voice was so sincere and moving, full of hope and joy when he sang 'Could It Be Forever?', or despair with 'My First Night Alone Without You', because only young people feel emotions so deeply, and a heartbreak is like the end of the world.
The song was rerecorded on Meisner's first solo album (Randy Meisner) released in 1978. The song was performed with piano and acoustic guitar accompaniment, and 1970s teen idol David Cassidy singing in the backing vocals.
15 de ago. de 2021 · David Cassidy was Pine Knob’s first performer. Even though the name changed in 2002 to DTE Energy Music Theatre, people still referred to it as Pine Knob. Then, as of January 14, 2022 it was announced that the name was officially changed back to Pine Knob.
