Margaretha van Mechelen (Lier, circa 1580 – Den Haag, 17 mei 1662) bijgezet in de Pieterskerk te Leiden was een Zuid-Nederlandse edelvrouw. Zij was een dochter van Cornelis van Mechelen, schepen van Lier te België en Barbara van Nassau-Corroy. Barbara van Nassau-Corroy stamde uit een katholieke bastaardtak van de Bredase Nassaus.
Margaretha van Mechelen woonde in Den Haag, dicht bij het stadhouderlijk hof van Maurits. Ook verbleef zij vaak in Rijswijk, waar Maurits’ stoeterij was. Van 1613 tot 1627 bewoonde zij een groot pand in de Houtstraat, dat zij op 21 januari 1627 aan Constantijn Huygens verkocht.
