An excellent guitar player and dynamic performer, Philip’s star-studded ‘70s hard rock band Thee Rock N’ Roll Residency has become a major weekly event in Nashville since 2013. Playing with Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, John Corabi of Mötley Crüe and others made him a much sought after live performer.
On 1 November 2019, Accept announced that Philip Shouse, previously a touring member, had joined the band as their third guitarist, thus converting Accept to a sextet. On 2 October 2020, Accept released "The Undertaker" as the first single from their upcoming sixteenth studio album Too Mean to Die, released on 29 January 2021.
