ESM, the Engineering Strong-Motion Database, provides a set of facilities to search, select, download and analyse ground-motion data and associated metadata.
Established in 1997, the Consortium of Organizations for Strong Motion Observation Systems (COSMOS) promotes collaboration among programs and institutions to improve strong-motion measurements, to solve mutual problems with instrumentation and data, and to assist in strong-motion data dissemination.
Say goodbye to tedious manual processing and hello to PRISM! PRISM is a state-of-the-art open-source program, designed to automate the entire process, making it faster, more efficient, and hassle-free. PRISM produces compatible acceleration, velocity, and displacement time series.
The web-based Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER) ground motion database provides tools for searching, selecting and downloading ground motion data. ALL downloaded records are UNSCALED and as-recorded (UNROTATED).
As a consortium of organizations, COSMOS provides the mechanism for collaboration for scientists, engineers, private companies, utility operators, academic institutions, and government agencies. Please check out some of current and past projects below.
