Gustav von Hayek (21 March 1836 in Brno – 11 January 1911 in Vienna) was an Austrian naturalist. He was the father of botanist August von Hayek (1871–1928) and the grandfather of economist Friedrich von Hayek (1899–1992).

August von Hayek (14 de diciembre de 1871, Viena - 11 de junio de 1928, ibíd.) fue un médico y botánico austríaco. Hijo del naturalista Gustav von Hayek, y padre del economista Friedrich August von Hayek. Fue profesor de la Universidad de Viena a partir de 1926.
