Badfinger (inicialmente llamados The Iveys) fue una banda de rock británica originaria de Gales, considerada como una de las más importantes del llamado power pop, con un estilo muy personal que fue evolucionando a pesar de las dificultades afrontadas como banda.
The album was recorded in Miami, Florida, by Evans, Molland, pianist and organist Tony Kaye (formerly of Yes), guitarist Glen Sherba and drummer Richard Bryans and was co-produced by Jack Richardson. Kaye had been invited to join the band by Evans after Airwaves, as the two had been friends.
With Glenn Sherba added on second guitar and Richard Bryans (from the band Aviary) replacing Clarke on drums, Badfinger released their second post-Ham album, Say No More, in 1981, with the album being distributed by Radio Records.
Al año siguiente, sin Tansin, pero con el teclista Tony Kaye (que ya había tocado en “Airwaves”), el guitarrista Glenn Sherba y el teclista Richard Bryans en la formación oficial, el grupo publicó en Radio Records “Say No More” (1981), último LP con Tom Evans, ya que siguiendo los pasos de Ham, Evans se suicidó en el año 1983.
