Inequality Reexamined is a 1992 book by the economist Amartya Sen. In the book Sen evaluates the different perspectives of the general notion of inequality, focusing mainly on his well-known capability approach.
To conclude, Inequality Reexamined makes two basic points: the facts of diversity complicate our understanding of equality; and a plausible conception of equality will have some connection to the idea of equal access to what people have reason to value.
