Two law degrees, a world of possibilities. Recognized as one of the best places in the world to study law, McGill’s Faculty of Law offers a challenging, stimulating program that has become a model for modern legal education. The BCL/JD program has the following distinguishing features:
The Faculty of Law is one of the professional graduate schools of McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the oldest law school in Canada. 180 candidates are admitted for any given academic year. For the year 2021 class, the acceptance rate was 10%. [4] [5] [6]
McGill's Faculty of Law currently hosts approximately 70 doctoral students, who come from all around the world. Each year, we admit roughly 15 new students to this vibrant community. Our doctoral programs. The Faculty of Law offers three options for students in its doctoral program: Doctor of Civil Law - Law. Doctor of Civil Law - Comparative Law.
Established in 1848, McGill University’s Faculty of Law is the oldest in Canada. The Faculty of Law is located on the slopes of beautiful Mount Royal, adjacent to McGill’s main campus in the heart of downtown Montreal, Quebec.
