Nancy Cooperstein Charney is an American theatrical producer and television director . Directing and producing. She produced the original Broadway production of Lanford Wilson 's Pulitzer-prize winning play - Talley's Folly - and the Emmy-nominated and Wilbur Award-winner - Snow in August - based on the book by Pete Hamil. [citation needed] .
Charney, who is married to television director Nancy Cooperstein, has appeared Off-Broadway with Sabine Singh in The Gold Standard by Daniel Roberts. [citation needed] In 1982 Charney became artistic director of Actors Alley theater in the San Fernando Valley in California.
