This scholarship program is intended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement who are recognized as leaders within their school.
The International Scholar Awards are automatically awarded to exceptional international students across U of T’s largest divisions and faculties. Offered upon admission to selected international students in the Faculty of Arts & Science(external link)on the basis of merit. Students are automatically considered for this award, which is valued at up to $50,000 in the first year of study. This award is not renewable.

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry, undergraduate programs. Each year approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars.
