Erik Johansson Vasa (c. 1470 – 8 November 1520) was a Swedish noble and the Lord of Rydboholm Castle in Roslagen. His son would rule as King Gustav I of Sweden from 1523–1560.

Erik suffered a bloody death in 1491; while travelling, he and his entourage raped a priest outside Strängnäs. In the scuffle with the priest and his people, Erik himself was mortally wounded.
Erik Johansson Vasa was born in 1470, in Örbyhus, Uppsala, Sweden as the son of Johan Kristiernsson Vasa and Birgitta Gustafsdotter Sture. He married Cecilia Månsdotter Eka in 1495. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters.
Eric XIV of Sweden. Eric XIV was born at Tre Kronor on 13 December 1533. Before the age of two, he lost his mother. In 1536, his father, Gustav Vasa, married Margaret Leijonhufvud (1516–51), a Swedish noblewoman. He was crowned as Eric XIV, but was not necessarily the 14th king of Sweden named Eric.
