Joan (or Jane) Fogge, Lady Green (c.1469 – c.1490/92-1506) was an English noblewoman. She was the mother of Maud Green,and therefore the maternal grandmother of Catherine Parr the sixth wife of King Henry VIII of England.

22 de sept. de 2012 · By her mother, Joan Fogge, Lady Parr was a cousin to Elizabeth Woodville, queen consort of Edward IV; descending from Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, Sir Richard Woodville. When Elizabeth became queen to Edward IV, she brought her favorite female relatives to court to serve her.
24 de sept. de 2012 · Sir Thomas married Joan “Jane” Fogge (born c. 1466), the daughter of Sir John of Ashford Fogge. [4] Sir Thomas Green and Joan Fogge had two children, both daughters: The arms of Parr and Green from the Pedigree window of Katherine Parr in the great hall of Hampton Court Palace, London.
Many sources state that Sir Thomas Greene married Fogge's daughter, Joan (or Jane), by whom he was the father of Maud Green, mother of Catherine Parr. However Fogge's will, as transcribed by Pearman in 1490, states that he has three daughters, Anne, Elizabeth and Margaret, and makes no mention of any other daughter. [13]
Greene married Joan Fogge, the daughter of Sir John Fogge, Knt. They had two daughters: [10] Anne Green (c.1489 - before 14 May 1523) who married Nicholas Vaux, 1st Baron Vaux of Harrowden (d. 14 May 1523) as his second wife. Vaux had previously been married to her sister's mother-in-law, Elizabeth FitzHugh.
