Lucy Lewis, née Jefferson (October 10, 1752 – May 26, 1810) was a younger sister of United States President Thomas Jefferson and the wife of Charles Lilburn Lewis . Early life and education. Her father, Col. Thomas Meriwether, was a prominent citizen of Albemarle County known as “a man of wealth.”.
