36 Crazyfists formed in 1994 in Anchorage, Alaska. The original members were vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarists Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell, bassist JD Stuart, and drummer Thomas Noonan. Holt is from Kenai, and Lindow spent much of his childhood there. [2] Lindow, Brownell, Stuart, and Noonan are all from Anchorage.
His future on the Bob and Brock show was confirmed before the Anniversary Concert occurred. May 2023 update: Activity on the 36 Crazyfists Facebook page has restarted. A picture of Brock Lindow’s face crossed out was posted and deleted within half an hour, leading to renewed activity on the page.

9 de abr. de 2021 · 36 Crazyfists appear to be planning to continue on without frontman Brock Lindow. The news follows guitarist Steve Holt seemingly calling out Lindow in a post this past March , which also saw him proclaim the end of the band.
In fact, the Anchorage, AK quartet—Brock Lindow [vocals], Steve Holt [guitar], Mick Whitney [bass], and Kyle Baltus [drums]—find catharsis within chaos on their seventh full-length album and second for Spinefarm, the aptly titled Lanterns. “Lanterns represent the light we all seek,” explains Brock.
