The Jayhawks was formed in 1984 by Minneapolis musicians Mark Olson (guitar and vocals) and Caleb Palmiter (bass), with the duo adding Tommy Rey (drums) for its first shows.

28 de abr. de 2024 · Finally, the late Caleb Palmiter, who had formed a short-lived, early version of The Jayhawks with Mark Olson in 1984, is here with The Magnolias playing bass on a song he co-wrote. Jayhawks tracks would also appear on Twin/Tone promo samplers in 1989 and 1992.
