THE VOLUME that follows contains the complete correspondence over more than thirty-five years between Rudolf Carnap (1891–1970) and W. V. O. Quine (1908–). It also contains three very early (1934) lectures by Quine on Carnap as well as a short paper by Carnap and Quine’s memorial tribute to Carnap of 1970.
