Pierre Moerlen ( Colmar, 23 de octubre de 1952 - Estrasburgo, 3 de mayo de 2005) fue un músico, percusionista y compositor francés, líder de la banda Pierre Moerlen's Gong. 1 . Biografía. Nació en la ciudad de Colmar, en el departamento de Alto Rin ( Alsacia ). Estudió piano de 1963 a 1967 con su padre, el famoso organista Maurice Moerlen.
