Peter-John Vettese (born 15 August 1956 [1] ), also known as Peter Vettese, is a Scottish keyboardist, songwriter, arranger and record producer. Vettese is perhaps best known for being the keyboardist for progressive rock band Jethro Tull for most of the 1980s.

Scottish-born Peter-John Vettese began his music studies, like many people, with piano lessons as a child. After various musical adventures, he eventually hooked up with Jethro Tull in 1982 as keyboardist. He stayed with the band on a full-time basis until 1985, when he left to pursue his own musical interests.
