Christopher Tony Wolstenholme (born 2 December 1978) is an English musician. He is the bassist and backing vocalist for the rock band Muse. He combines bass guitar with effects and synthesisers to create overdriven fuzz bass tones, a motif of many Muse songs.
Chris was lucky enough to once get to stand-in on a soundcheck with his idols, Status Quo. In 2018, he was asked to play on Status Quo's guitarist Rick Parfitt's post-mortem studio album Over and Out , released in 2018, shortly after Parfitt's death.
