Gertrude Elizabeth, Lady Colin Campbell (née Blood; 3 May 1857 – 1 November 1911) was an Irish-born journalist, author, playwright, and editor. She was married to Lord Colin Campbell, a brother-in-law of Princess Louise, Queen Victoria's fourth daughter.
Lady Colin Campbell was born Gertrude Elizabeth Blood in May 1857. She enjoyed a liberal upbringing for the day, and developed into an intelligent, artistic and beautiful young woman. Much of her childhood was spent in Europe, so she was equally at ease in English, Italian and French.
Campbell, Gertrude Elizabeth (née Blood ) (1857–1911), writer, journalist, and critic, was the second daughter of Edmond Maghlin Blood (d. 1891), of Thurloe Square, London, and Brickhill, Co. Clare, and Mary Amy Fergusson (d. 1899), of Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Gertrude Elizabeth (née Blood), Lady Colin Campbell. Gertrude Elizabeth Campbell was a journalist, art critic, socialite and keen sportswoman. In 1886 she became embroiled in a notorious divorce case when she accused her husband, Colin Campbell, of infidelity and cruelty.
Gertrude Elizabeth Campbell, née Blood, Lady Colin Campbell, was the daughter of Mary Amy Blood and Edmond Maghlin Blood of Brickhill, Co. Clare. In 1881 she married Lord Colin Campbell, the fifth son of the eighth Duke of Argyll, who was MP for Argyllshire from 1878 to 1885.
