Lord Henry Richard Charles Somerset, PC, DL, JP (7 December 1849 – 10 October 1932) was a British Conservative politician and composer of popular music. He served as Comptroller of the Household under Benjamin Disraeli between 1874 and 1879.

FitzRoy James Henry Somerset, 1st Baron Raglan was a field marshal and the first British commander in chief during the Crimean War. His leadership in the war has usually been criticized. During the Napoleonic Wars and afterward, Somerset served as the Duke of Wellington’s military secretary.
Edward Seymour, Duke of Somerset is one of the most well-known of Henry VIII's courtiers. Although the duke was most influential under the reign of his nephew, King Edward VI, it was during the reign of Henry VIII that Seymour started his ascent at the Tudor court.
