The legendary HB Studio was founded in historical Greenwich Village in NYC in 1945 by Broadway actor and director Herbert Berghof and Uta Hagen.
HB offers a variety of options for part-time or full-time study in our various performing arts programs. We provide classes, workshops and programs for actors, directors and playwrights at all stages of experience — from weekly classes, to short-term workshops, to full-time immersive training.
