Frances Cromwell, Lady Russell (c. 6 December 1638 – 27 January 1720) was the ninth child and youngest daughter of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland and Ireland, and his wife, Elizabeth Cromwell.

The Cromwell family is an English aristocratic family descended from Hugh de Cromwell who came to England with William the Conqueror. Its most famous members are: Thomas Cromwell, 1st Earl of Essex; and, Oliver Cromwell, the Lord Protector.
Frances Russell (née Cromwell; 1638 – 1720) was the ninth and youngest daughter of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland and Ireland, and his wife, Elizabeth Cromwell. She was baptized at St. Mary's Church in Ely on 6 December 1638.

Biography. Frances Cromwell was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles. Frances Cromwell was daughter of Oliver Cromwell and his wife, Elizabeth Bourchier. She was baptised at St Mary, Ely in Cambridgeshire on 6 December 1638. [1] .
