The University of Alabama School of Law, (formerly known as the Hugh F. Culverhouse Jr. School of Law at The University of Alabama) located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama is the only public law school in the state. It is one of five law schools in the state, and one of three that are ABA accredited.
University of Alabama is ranked No. 33 (tie) out of 196 in Best Law Schools. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.
School of Law. Law, JD. Overview. Requirements. The curriculum is designed to give students a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Apart from a group of core courses, most of which are taught in the first-year, students may select from a large number of courses, seminars and clinical offerings.
