Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts (also known as Talent Scouts) was an American radio and television variety show which ran on CBS from 1946 until 1958. Sponsored by Lipton Tea, it starred Arthur Godfrey, who was also hosting Arthur Godfrey and His Friends at the same time.
Talent Scouts: With Arthur Godfrey, George Bryan, Archie Bleyer, Tony Marvin. A popular radio personality in the 1940's brought his variety talent contest show to television that continued into the 1950's.

Godfrey's morning show was supplemented by a prime time variety show, Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts, broadcasting from the CBS Studio Building at 49 East 52nd Street, where he had his main office.
On TV Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts ran until July 1958 on Monday nights at 8:30 P.M. for a half hour and proved Godfrey's best venue on television. Fans embraced this amateur showcase, and during the 1951-52 TV season it reached number one in the ratings.
Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts featured professional and semi-professional performers who were looking for their first big break in show business. Before each act performed, Arthur Godfrey would interview the “talent scouts” who had “discovered” the act and brought them to the show’s attention.
