The David Geffen School of Drama at Yale offers a Master of Fine Arts in acting, design, sound design, directing, dramaturgy and dramatic criticism, playwriting, stage management, technical design and production, and theatre management.
Madeline Miller es una novelista estadounidense licenciada en Filología Clásica por la Universidad de Brown y en Dramaturgia por la Escuela de Arte Dramático de Yale. Además de a la escritura se dedica a impartir clases de Latín, Griego y la obra de Shakespeare a estudiantes de bachillerato.
La Escuela de Arte Dramático de Yale tiene un récord insuperable en cuanto a la graduación de actores que acaban siendo nominados a los premios Tony. La escuela de la Ivy League recibe unas 1.000 solicitudes de audición al año y sólo acepta entre 15 y 17 estudiantes.
Rodolfo Usigli Wainer fue uno de los más grandes impulsores de la enseñanza del arte teatral en el país y figura fundamental para la consolidación de una escena propiamente mexicana. Importante promotor teatral, dramaturgo, prolífero escritor y diplomático.
