Our departments focus the importance of subject vocabulary within their delivery to develop content knowledge and aid reading in lessons. Our academy provides opportunities to encourage older students to read with younger students and to provide opportunities to discuss what they are reading.

Outwood Academy Easingwold is a mixed 11–18 secondary school with academy status in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, England. It had 663 pupils in 2023, including an on-site sixth form. The school is operated by Outwood Grange Academies Trust, and the current principal is Emma Taylor.
