At age three Davis began performing in vaudeville with his father and uncle, Will Mastin, in the Will Mastin Trio. Davis studied tap dancing under Bill (“Bojangles”) Robinson but never received a formal education.

16 de may. de 2024 · After his discharge from the Army, Davis rejoined the Will Mastin Trio and soon became known in Las Vegas as the kid in the middle. Soon he was a headliner at the Frontier Casino for many years. Davis, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop became known as the Rat Pack after filming Ocean’s Eleven in 1960.
