Tarkio College was a college that operated in Tarkio, Missouri, from 1883 to 1992. The institution was supported by the United Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, followed by the Presbyterian Church (USA).
6 de nov. de 2019 · Now, 28 years later, the college in Tarkio, Missouri, 31 miles west of Maryville, will reopen under a new name, the Tarkio Technology Institute. TTI will serve as a post-secondary career and technical school offering diploma and certificate programs in plumbing technology, computer technology and wind energy technology.
20 de dic. de 2019 · Tarkio College closed in 1992 after more than 100 years as a four-year liberal arts school. Alumni have been working to revitalize the campus with a new format.
13 de sept. de 2021 · Starting next year, Tarkio Tech will be eligible to receive GI Bill funds and VA funds. There are also plans to expand their student housing options and other continued growth. (TARKIO, Mo.) -- Community leaders in Tarkio have looked to their past to plan for their future.
