Wesley College was established in 1844. It is New Zealand’s oldest registered school. Wesley College was the first Private School to integrate in the State Education system under the terms of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975.

Wesley College is a secondary school in Paerata, at the northern edge of Pukekohe, Auckland Region, New Zealand. The school provides education from year 9 to 13. The school was founded by members of the Methodist Church in 1844, making it one of the country's oldest schools. [3]

Founded by members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1844, making it one of the country's oldest schools. Initially located in Grafton as the Wesley College and Seminary and then the Three Kings area of Auckland, it closed briefly in 1869 before reopening in 1876 in Three Kings again.
Wesley College opened on 11 January 1866, at its St Kilda Road Campus and began with just one student, Freddie Binks. Freddie could never have imagined the Wesley College we know today – one of Australia’s leading coeducational, multi-campus schools with a student population of more than 3,300.
Wesley College is an historic state-integrated school established in 1844. The school is located on the outskirts of Pukekohe and caters for around 360 students in Years 9 to 13. The roll is made up of 25% female and 75% male and the majority of students are drawn from areas of South Auckland.
