Tomasz Zamoyski (1594 – 7 January 1638) was a Polish-Lithuanian nobleman and magnate. He travelled to London in July 1615 and was invited to hunt with King James at Theobalds.

Zamoyski Family, great Polish family whose members influenced Polish politics and history for almost 400 years. The family settled in the 15th century at Laznin in the Mazovia area of Poland. Tomasz Lazninski bought an estate there called Zamość, and his sons Florian (died 1510) and Maciej began to use the name Zamoyski.

Zamoyski. A family line of Polish magnates, originating with Tomasz Łaziński, who purchased a large estate in the Stara Zamość region (hence the Zamoyski name) in the early 15th century. Members of the family occupied important state positions in the Polish kingdom and played a significant role in Ukrainian affairs.
