Texas is a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, founded in 1986 by Johnny McElhone (formerly of the bands Altered Images and Hipsway ), Ally McErlaine, and Sharleen Spiteri (on lead vocals). Texas made their performing debut in March 1988 at the University of Dundee.

Mike Bannister (born May 1949 [1]) is an airline pilot. He is best known as the Chief Pilot of British Airways ' Concorde fleet, [2] [3] a post which he held from 1995 until its withdrawal from service in 2003.
