The George Washington Educational Campus is a facility of the New York City Department of Education located at 549 Audubon Avenue at West 193rd Street in the Fort George neighborhood of Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City, United States. Within the building are located four schools:

Upon the death of George Washington's father in 1743, George's formal schooling ended. He is thought to have attended the nearby grammar school run by Reverend James Marye, the rector of St. George's Parish, up until this time. Therefore, the extent of young George's formal educational training was in basic mathematics, reading, and writing.
We offer a number of study options to fit your schedule, lifestyle and location. Beyond the main campuses, GW has academic centers in Alexandria and Arlington, VA, that provide graduate education opportunities to working professionals near their homes and workplaces.
