Plot. Mikoto Misumi is a forensic doctor working at the Unnatural Death Investigation Laboratory (UDI Lab), a fictional facility recently established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Together with her colleagues, she solves cases involving deaths arising from unnatural circumstances .
