  1. Marischal College (/ ˈ m ɑː r ʃ l / MAR-shəl) is a large granite building on Broad Street in the centre of Aberdeen in north-east Scotland, and since 2011 has been the headquarters of Aberdeen City Council.

It is a blend of two styles: A. Marshall Mackenzie’s ‘perpendicular gothic’ (1890s) and Archibald Simpson’s earlier more austere architecture (1837).
