When the Oratorian Saint John Henry Newman sent priests from his Congregation to open an Oratory in London, they began their mission by opening schools where poor, immigrant Catholic children could get a rudimentary education. The London Oratory School owes its origins to that early initiative.

Our School. Founded in 1863 by the Fathers of the Oratory, The London Oratory School is one of England's oldest and most distinguished Catholic state-funded boys’ schools. Girls are admitted into the Sixth Form.
