Elmhurst is an independent school for classical ballet students aged 11-19 years’ old. Entry to the school is by audition with students joining from Year 7 onwards and graduating after Year 14. Elmhurst Ballet School is an independent boarding school for professional classical ballet in the United Kingdom. It takes students aged 11–19 years who intend to pursue a career in professional classical ballet.
Join our Young Dancers Programme (School Years 4 – 6) or our Extended Young Dancers Programme (School Years 7-12) and we will ensure that you are audition-ready for your next steps to becoming a professional ballet dancer.

Upper School. Thinking dancers make better dancers, which is why you’ll have the opportunity to study your Advanced Level Certificates (‘A’ Levels) alongside your dance training and Level 6 Trinity Diploma. You’ll enjoy being taught by passionate subject specialists.
