Shrinking Violet is the sixth studio album by glam metal band L.A. Guns, first released on June 1, 1999, through Perris Records, and is the only L.A. Guns album with singer Jizzy Pearl. The album was reissued, with bonus tracks and new artwork, on May 24, 2010, through Favored Nations.

In addition, he made a guest appearance on the L.A. Guns album Shrinking Violet, which he also produced. Clarke also produced The Bronx's self-titled album released in 2003 and Girlsplayboys debut album From Ritual to Romance in 2006, and L.A. Guns' 2001 album Man in the Moon.
Produced by former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, "Shrinking Violet" is a harder-edged return to L.A. Guns' roots in Sleazy, crunching Glam Metal a la Kiss and Mötley Crüe. New (Ex- Love/Hate) singer Jizzy Pearl brings a nice raw sound back to the band, as does Clarke's restrained yet muscular production.
