Sir Edward Woodville KG KB (died 1488) was a member of the Woodville family during the Wars of the Roses. He survived the reign of Richard III in which several of his relatives were executed in a power struggle after the death of his brother-in-law Edward IV .

The Lancastrian garrison of the Tower of London, commanded by Lord Scales, opened fire indiscriminately into the surrounding streets with cannon and wildfire, causing many deaths and injuries.
However the English knight Edward Woodville, Lord Scales, defied Henry and brought over a small force of 700 archers he had gathered from his base in the Isle of Wight.

30 de sept. de 2023 · In 1473, King Edward IV appointed Anthony Woodville, 2nd Earl Rivers as Governor of the household of his heir, Edward, Prince of Wales. Rivers went with the prince to Ludlow Castle in the Welsh Marches.
