Cedar Anthony Walton Jr. (January 17, 1934 – August 19, 2013) was an American hard bop jazz pianist. He came to prominence as a member of drummer Art Blakey 's band, The Jazz Messengers, before establishing a long career as a bandleader and composer.
The Trio 2 is a live album by pianist Cedar Walton, bassist David Williams and drummer Billy Higgins recorded in 1985 and released on the Italian Red label.

The following year, the trio was if anything even more relaxed, opening with a gently rocking and pulsating version of Neil Hefti’s Girl Talk.
