Magdalena of Saxony (7 March 1507 – 25 January 1534) was Margravine of Brandenburg, as well as Electoral Princess of Brandenburg. [1] She was the daughter of George the Bearded, Duke of Saxony and his wife Barbara.

Magdalene Sibylle of Brandenburg-Bayreuth (27 October 1612 – 20 March 1687) was Electress of Saxony from 1656 to 1680 as the wife of John George II.
Princess of Saxony. Born on March 7, 1507; died on January 28, 1534; daughter of Barbara of Poland (1478–1534) and George the Bearded (b. 1471), duke of Saxony; married Joachim II Hector (1505–1571), elector of Brandenburg (r. 1535–1571), on November 6, 1524; children: John George (1525–1598), elector of Brandenburg (r. 1571–1598).
They were first recorded in the Royal Collection in 1870. The sitter is Magdalena Sibylla, daughter of Albert Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg, Duke of Prussia, who married, as his second wife in 1607, John George, Elector of Saxony.
